My siblings and I were homeschooled, and we got plenty of socialization. We had friends at church, on our block, children of our Dad’s coworkers, etc. We eventually joined a large homeschool group as well, and we were all at each other’s homes all the time. In my experience, homeschool kids are actually more socialized than those who go to public school.
My homeschooled kids get more social interaction than kids going to school. Today there are lots of homeschool co-ops and activities, that didn't exist in the past.

I sent a strongly worded letter reminding the teacher that mask are not required, they are only 'expected' and if my daughter doesn't want to wear a mask, she doesn't have to and she will not be bullied into wearing one.
The teach wrote back a CYA letter. Needless to say, my daughter went all day today without wearing a mask and no one said anything to her.
