Yeah. I grew up on the East side. Currently on the west side. But still the city, not the neighboring township. When the “peaceful protests” flipped and burned a car and broke windows downtown, I live a mile away from that.
I feel you. I’m a few blocks from where the protestors were holding up motorists with rifles...
I already have found Lansing to be terrible in terms of their spotty neighborhoods and lack of policing (not necessarily the fault of the LPD). But I doubt these “up and coming” neighborhoods will ever truly get better.
