The first guy pursing him got shot at, what, 4 times? So three targets, less bullets than one cop shooting Jacob Blake? Think about that. And theyre calling this kid a mass shooter. He showed restraint if anything. The dude who sucker punched him and the dude who running kicked him did not even get shot at.
Blake endured taser and 2 officers. Their perps are on serious drugs and they are often trained to empty a magazine on a wild suspect if the situation arises.
Kyle did a great job and he even cleared his weapon. He managed his situation and his awareness was fantastic. I bet it was all a blur to him if you asked.
Exactly. My husband is a police officer, and he stated that it's actually normal for an officer to nearly use a whole magazine. Maybe not normal (his choice of words is sometimes poor), but it is quite common. Pistols, of course. I don't know what the stats are on shots fired with a rifle, but we don't talk much about his job as a rule. I overheard this when he was trying to tell his mother that seven shots is actually not an overuse of force. She's a leftist, but at least she seeks to ask before being frantic!
"pistols put holes IN people, rifles put holes THROUGH people, and a shotgun with the right load and at the right range takes chunks of meat off people. - Clint Smith
You're right he fires once at the guy running and jump kicking at his head. But still that arguably shows even more restraint. He showed so much restraint I forgot he even fired a round before that. One shot each, three people attacking him. Threats neutralized. I think if it was a cop getting assaulted on the ground by two people and a third approaches with a pistol, we're watching him unload and reload.
(re-reading my comment - I hope it didn't sound snarky, brevity can take it's toll on tone)
But ya - police tend to empty clips when committing. His control and selective fire was astounding (except perhaps the first guy near the cars - but I 'think' he was grabbing for the gun because the coroner mentions one of his hands was shot - making for a more random scenario).
If Kyle had a pistol he'd either be dead or hospitalized right now. The only reason he made ot out of there and was able to fire so few rounds is because he had a rifle
I remarked Kyle has amazing Poise.... I made your point the day of but it’s so worth mentioning over and over.... He did everything IMO to not fire his weapon!
This is 100% true, and I've said the same thing verbatim to others. It's basically the wet-dream scenario of all these tactical assholes, and as a 17-year-old kid, he was flawless.
I’ll give you a tip. If you’re ever in a situation like that, and some scumbag is pointing a Glock at you from 6 feet away, don’t pull the trigger once and wait to see if that stops him. Pull it 3-4 times and make sure it stops him.
Kyle got insanely lucky with where he hit that guy.
He didn't know how many more were coming, on that run he dealt with 4 including the one who punched the back of his head. In a situation like that you conserve
Sadly the truth of it is many of them are equal opportunity hires, pushed through the system in a "no child left behind" type manner, where training, mental, and physical standards are lowered to keep them moving and get the "quota" numbers.
Not all. But there's enough in the force to water it down.
And its not just a front line issue. You get enough leadership who are shit, they'll take down the entire squad.
The Kenosha Kid. 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
I've seen many nicknames for him but this is the one that will stick.
Yep, the restraint that 17yo showed was amazing. He kept his head through the worst of it. I hope the justice system does it's damn job on this one.

If the police were using weapons with this level of firepower, they wouldn't need so many shots.
Pistols are pistols and rifles are rifles.

unless your "rifle" is a "pistol", cus, short barrell reasons. lol
TBF, you must not be familiar with LEO training.
They are SPECIFICALLY trained to shoot until threat is neutralized.
3 (at least) he also shot (and missed) the guy who kicked him in the face and skipped off.
Why did you think it was only 2 shots? You can hear clearly more.

Ammo management. He saw more coming.

Most impressive.
RESPECT
amen!
That moment when your bicep explodes into 1/2 pound of ground beef.
Did you say side of beef?
He had the potential of being a future SWAT or Delta Force operator, too bad the media has smeared his name
This kid is a hero to all of the Patriots.🇺🇸
7? They dump entire mags...lmao
Because cops have pistols and pistol rounds don’t put people on the ground like rifle rounds do. It’s that simple.
And frankly Kyle fucked up by not putting at least 2 more in the guy with the gun.
He wasn't trying to murder people. They were trying to murder him!
Ok?

God I hope you’re not being serious.
Pistols shoot faster & you have to be sure you stop the threat. This kid was good with a good gun.
Let's be honest, a limp-wristed pantifa commie is an easy target.
Cop would have never run away....
Cops are absolutely tactically terrible. Just awful.
Sadly the truth of it is many of them are equal opportunity hires, pushed through the system in a "no child left behind" type manner, where training, mental, and physical standards are lowered to keep them moving and get the "quota" numbers.

Cops are specifically trained to mag dump a pistol.
A rifle is not a pistol.
The amount of video game level tactical analysis here is pretty hilarious.
“Just put a couple 9mm in them, that’s enough”...
