So when does the vaccine for the common cold come out?

That's also a corona virus you know. For some reason they still haven't figured out that one and every other virus aside from polio. But sure, let's give all these fuckers more government money.

50
chambleepede 50 points ago +51 / -1

This is what blows my mind. People are like "I'm waiting for a vaccine." Who's signing up to go first. Who wants some vaccine created in this short of a time when we've never had one before?

Yeah look at the MTV awards at Lady Gaga! She’s totally MKUltra and satanic out. They’re handling the fuck out of her.

Unfortunately walked by a TV with this shit on it (luckily my family member was watching it to laugh at) and clearly when they picked masks for the empty headed dolt they said "whatever one is the most satanic and demented."

Well the best part of a vaccine is that the government will have to reopen everything. If you’re scared take the vaccine or stay home.

Not really religious but this is some mark of the beast shit here. “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16,17

What you said and the whole failed sars vaccine is exactly why I'm not taking it!

And this is coming from someone who openly mock anti-vaxxors and believes in herd immunity, but I am hella scurred of the wu-flu vaccine.

9
powershellder 9 points ago +9 / -0

Most “antivaxxers” are not anti vaccine; most are just concerned about inadequate testing and potentially harmful ingredients.

There is a massive media campaign promoting the idea that these people are idiots.

Instead of openly mocking them, maybe ask them why they believe what they believe and what concerns they have.

6
philandy 6 points ago +6 / -0

Also, that shush slush fund and the protections for manufacturers "for the greater good."

-9
PeytonManThing -9 points ago +3 / -12

Everyone panicking about coronavirus. Also me. It’s an injection of some virus like particles, designed to trigger your immune system response. The worst possible outcome is an allergic reaction, which is very rare and why you stay at the doctor’s office for 30 minutes. They can treat you if you have a reaction. The second worst side effect is you feel somewhat sick from your immune response. It’s not going to kill you.

4
Dimocrat_Lies 4 points ago +5 / -1

Now consider the possibility that they fuck this up as tremendously because they expedited it and if it was as easy and foolproofly harmless as you say we wouldn’t have to test them so damn much.

-1
PeytonManThing -1 points ago +1 / -2

Do we really have to test them so damn much? New flu vaccines are made every year.

3
Sumarongi 3 points ago +4 / -1

Dude, they are testing a ‘vaccine’ that alters your DNA.

-2
PeytonManThing -2 points ago +2 / -4

And?

1
Sumarongi 1 point ago +2 / -1

That’s a lot different than injecting you with ‘virus like’ particles

1
PeytonManThing 1 point ago +2 / -1

If only genetic modification were so easy. It wouldn’t be used for vaccines, but to correct genetic disorders or maybe even cancer.

3
JuicyfearsMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

You admit to panicking over coronavirus, your opinions are null and void..mask up lockdown forever.

You're grossly misinformed about the vaccine, which has caused organ failures in about a third of the kids it was tested on, and yes, does alter your genetic makeup.

95% sure you're a troll anyway

Let's not spread fake news. There are plenty of viruses with effective vaccines: HepB, HPV, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella are some common ones to start

12
left_reddit_for_this 12 points ago +13 / -1

Yes, but those vaccines went through rigorous trials, studies, and testing before they were used on the general population. This vaccine will be rushed, forced, and not proven to be safe.

Edit: ok, I see the comment you were replying to and agree that we have many safe vaccines in place for a myriad of common viruses.

7
MedPede 7 points ago +7 / -0

This vaccine will be rushed, forced, and not proven to be safe

That's the only 100% guaranteed outcome of the "vaccines" they will push. They still struggle to produce an effective Flu vaccine each year. Against some strains of influenza, the typical vaccine is only 10%+ effective (egg cell grown - double that to 20%+ for mouse cell grown vaccines such as Flucelvax*

The Chinese Coronavirus has now mutated into many different strains. The medical companies might as well be playing dodge ball with a hornet's nest in trying to prevent infections of Covid.

*No, I don't have any ties or financial interests with this influenza vaccine - but since I am obligated to get one every year, I have done some research on which ones provide better coverage.

3
Coolmishi 3 points ago +4 / -1

OK maybe the vaccines do work for these viruses, but you might want to talk to some of the mothers who have autistic children now or children who have been paralyzed by those vaccines. Just because they were does it mean that they’re healthy for people and they’ve been destroying kids for years.

1
IthoughtIwalked 1 point ago +2 / -1

Besides anecdotal evidence, there have been absolutely 0 studies showing that vaccines cause autism, unless you have some to share? There have been studies however comparing the rate of autism between vaccinated and unvaccinated children, and the rate is the same. Would you not expect the vaccinated to have a higher rate? And how do you explain autism in unvaccinated children?

Everything in medicine is based on a risk:benefit ratio - do the risks of side effects of a certain intervention outweigh the benefits or not? In the case of vaccines, the risks spread across the entire population do not outweigh the benefits, and so vaccines are recommended. I am fully a supporter of personal choice however. Additionally, while some of those viruses aren't significantly lethal, many of them have long term sequelae. Mumps can cause sterility and measles can cause subacute sclerosing panencephalitis - something hardly seen anymore due to children not getting measles. Also, the polio vaccine has been improved so that there isn't the risk of developing paralysis that was present with the original (Salk vs Sabin). Those are just a couple examples.

There is an argument to be made against the untested COVID vaccine and seasonal flu vaccines that don't get properly tested, but there are other vaccines that have been around for decades that do have benefits, and the argument to oppose each and every vaccine is simply faulty. I don't see how many on this site can believe literature proving hydroxychloroquine is safe, but then disregard any literature showing the efficacy of vaccines.

1
IthoughtIwalked 1 point ago +1 / -0

I support you as a fellow pede, I really do. But claiming that vaccines cause autism and that vaccines paralyze kids and that they are literally destroying kids is not exactly true. It's important to have a rational discussion and not spread misinformation, hence my lengthy reply to try to explain some of the vaccine misunderstandings that many people have.

If you can afford to.

Or, forge the documentation. They're not checking the validity of the document (see linen masks) , they're checking for compliance.

Fake your compliance.

34
thingaboutarsenal 34 points ago +34 / -0

☝️ This guy understands security theater.

Right now you can buy fake documents for pretty much everything. 'Rona vaccinations will be no different.

7
MedPede 7 points ago +7 / -0

There are people selling fake Covid-test results. You can ask for a false positive, or a false negative.

3
iamabioticgod 3 points ago +3 / -0

Where do you get one of these?

3
MedPede 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't have a direct source. I know people who could tell me where to get one if I wanted. From what I can gather, the fake negative ones are sought by people who want to travel, but would otherwise be quarantined at their destination. The fake positives are used to get out of work.

I'm not talking about people faking the results themselves. Just as there are providers who will give people the drugs they request, there are those willing to do tests. All someone has to do is have someone (it could be the medical provider themselves) who doesn't have the virus. Swab themselves and send it to the lab as the patient's. An incorrectly done swab will also likely result in a negative test.

There are unscrupulous people in every job field.

3
Averon 3 points ago +3 / -0

Then there are these labs that were reporting all their tests as positives. So even if you know the sample you give then it's negative there is still a chance for a positive result.

13
Raindrops1984 13 points ago +13 / -0

Forging it is complying. I know you’re not that dense to be blind to that fact.

Forging it says, “Look here, I complied!”

It also shows literally everyone else around you who is questioning what they themselves should do that you’re a compliant peon and that they should be compliant peons too.

It takes strength to stand up and say no. It takes nothing to hide behind the veil of compliance no matter your method.

Imagine the Founding Fathers just complying by forging tax stamps and gaming that system instead of saying no.

Anything outside of standing your ground and saying no is akin to taking the blue pill.

21
Raindrops1984 21 points ago +21 / -0

Yes. I did quit my job because they were trying to mandate weekly tests even if we aren’t working onsite. I asked when it would end and they said it would end after the vaccine came out. We’ve been stockpiling defense tools, gardening supplies, canned and LTS food, a chest freezer and meat, we’ve paid off as much debt as we could, we went to the doctors for outstanding medical issues, we got our house fixed up (ie fixed a mildly leaky roof).

I don’t know what’s coming next but I know I’m not taking that vaccine.

8
Cyer6 8 points ago +8 / -0

I quit a job a little while back because I refused to wear a muzzle. A few others left that day also. I won't take their vaccine just because I don't trust ANYTHING associated with this scamdemic at this stage.

Medical and science professionals reversing their stance on positions affecting people's health.

Governors ordering sick people into nursing homes.

Medical and other specialists being ignored when they come out against the CV narrative.

Thousands of false positive tests and unreliable even falsified data.

Lockdowns and other ridiculous mandates with no scientific backing. Just tactics being used to make people angry, miserable and defeated so that they might want to elect someone different "for a change."

Effective treatments being buried and politicized and governors ordering these treatments to be unavailable in their states.

Yeah, I'm going to trust these fucks.

I already confronted my job about it. I have an option to invest in my job, but if I leave my job within about a year, I would lose everything. They could not give me confirmation that they would not be requiring the vaccine.

I did not make that investment. I also told them that if they did choose to require it, I would no longer be working for them.

I also explained my reasons. I did not say it as a threat, more of a notice.

They asked me not to make any impulsive decisions yet.

The point is that they know, and maybe that will make a difference when the time comes. If not, I am preparing for it now.

It would be far safer to do so. To my knowledge, they don't have a single proven case of fomite (touch) caused infection. It's theorized as possible. Meanwhile we have Bill Gates who wanted to mandate vaccines for everyone even before Wuhan Flu was released into the world.

14
left_reddit_for_this 14 points ago +14 / -0

Me and my husband have already agreed that we will NOT be taking the vaccine and neither will our children. We are not anti-vax. Our son has received all necessary vaccines on schedule except for the flu vaccine. This will not be safe. They do not have the time to safely test it and will be starting open human trials on our most vulnerable populations because they are easy targets. I will home school or whatever else is necessary before I give an untested and forced vaccine to my child.

6
censorthisss 6 points ago +6 / -0

Good for you guys. I'm also not anti vax but that's because they weren't rushed and went through the proper testing over a period of many years.

It's scary hearing Gates and Fauci predict 12-18 months to have a Covid19 vaccine. They know that on average it takes 20 years to find a vaccine They know that the fastest we have ever developed a safe vaccine is 7 years. And yet they say 12-18 months for Covid?? It doesn't make any sense and I damn sure won't be a part of whatever the fuck they're cooking up.

5
Averon 5 points ago +5 / -0

A lot of the vaccines being developed are also different than any vaccines they've ever used in humans before. Some are the standard weakened virus type vaccine, but others are RNA or DNA vaccines which use a virus to insert new DNA or RNA into your cells permanently to change its behavior in some way that's supposed to make you immune.

10
HoneyBadger32 10 points ago +10 / -0

I remember reading that having 700k deaths from the vaccine was reasonable. Fuck that. I have a better chance getting the Wu Flu and surviving than the vaccine. I will not take it.

9
Staatssicherheit 9 points ago +11 / -2

Yeah, even though the seasonal flu kills only about 9,000/year, I've been taking the vaccine because I worry less about death and more about just getting very ill with the flu for a few days.

2
MedPede 2 points ago +2 / -0

The better hospitals will let employees self exempt from seasonal vaccines, though they will usually require you to wear a mask during flu season.

5
f_bastiat 5 points ago +5 / -0

For me to take a rushed untested vaccine made by companies i wouldnt trust in a million years, the virus would have to kill 25% of everyone it infects, and I'd still wait a few weeks to make sure the death rate was truly that high. Only then will i know the companies are probably putting out a legit product because if they dont they will lose 25% of their future customers, and thats bad for business.

5
Averon 5 points ago +5 / -0

What if whatever new virus they came out with next only killed people that had taken the coronavirus vaccine? And if they didn't report that and just panicked the previous nonvaxxed people into getting the new improved vaccine which makes ten susceptible to virus number 3?

Or if the above doesn't happen, they can always fake the death rates or kill people in other ways and blame the virus.

I don't have any trust left for the medical establishment at all.

IME flu shots are still good, and I've never gotten full-on sick from Influenza whenever I've taken the vaccine for it (I may have gotten the chills for a few days, or mildly ill, but nothing compared to full-blown Influenza symptoms whenever I've decided not to take the shot). With that being said, I did skip the vaccine for a few years after they introduced Swine Flu/H1N1 into it, because I wanted to observe the safety behind it first.

I'm noticing a lot of misinformation being spread about the numbers killed by wuhan flu, so here are several different reports from different places where they all found that over 90% and in some cases over 99% of deaths had PREEXISTING CONDITIONS, and usually more than one. Not co-morbidity resulting from the virus, diseases they had before they got the virus. So indeed, real deaths from wuhan virus are less than 10% of the reported deaths, probably a lot lower.

So I did the math, per CDC numbers

2017 avg dead per day: 7,708

Multiplied for 7 months: 1.64M

2020 most recent 7 months: 1.82M

That means 180,000 more people have died in 2020 during this 7 month span than would have in 2017.

The CDC states that it’s 169K covid related deaths.

As long as they aren’t just making up dead bodies that don’t exist, it’s probably not bullshit

You also have to take into account the rise in suicide, and those who died from not receiving regular care because of Covid measures. I know of several people who had to put off cancer treatment for months, which can become life or death. Not to mention all the “elective” surgeries that were postponed making some people’s minor problems , serious problems with the ongoing delays.

Also my mother almost died of corona virus, because she got a kidney infection with it and no doctor would run any tests on her or give her any medications or even allow her in the doctors office. She became septic with her kidney infection and we had to rush her to the one of the only 4 doctors in Texas who will see a Covid positive person and treat them as an actual human patient. I wonder how many others did not get so lucky

You’re not wrong by any means

Increases in alcoholism, suicide and drug abuse I’d imagine, and a decrease in say car wrecks

The numbers I gave are simply the net total of everything

covid related deaths

Someone who has been skipping some dialysis to avoid catching Covid-19, then catches it anyways and dies will be considered Covid related, even though it was the lack of dialysis that did 90% of the killing.

So many things wrong with this.

You have to look at month over month, as different times of year have different death numbers.

There has been a year over year increase in number of deaths every single year, so naturally since 2017 there have been increases each year of deaths.

Considering the number of fake wuhan flu deaths reported, there is no rational for your comment, so I will assume you are a troll.

Because i don’t have the actual numbers off hand I used the avg per day of previous years to find a nice middle ground between all the months.

While I don’t doubt at all that hospitals will fuck around to get paid.

I doubt they’re making up dead bodies that don’t exist in any significant numbers

The numbers I used were for total dead from all causes, not covid or covid related, but all deaths.

The resulting number is the # of additional people who died from the virus, the virus making a existing problem worse, or any of its butterfly effects (like say alcoholism from job loss due to the lockdown)

The whole point is the CDC’s 169K probably isn’t completely crazy.

If anything the numbers the cdc provide confirm what people think

The virus alone in healthy people is no big deal, but if you have a preexisting illness or condition, it could fuck you up bad.

Seriously don’t understand this. Worst outcomes of a vaccine are 1) allergic reaction and 2) it doesn’t work. I’ll take whatever vaccine (which probably won’t have anything to do with Bill Gates) so we can open up society again, and so we can say Trump beat the Covid Crisis, which will be excellent for his re-election chances

COVID-19 hasn't killed only 9,000...

Miserable_company 15 points ago +18 / -3

Right, it’s like 9200 or something.

spezisacuckold -2 points ago +4 / -6

No, it’s really not. It’s also not what the CDC reports on the high end. Please think about it logically. Just because somebody dies with COVID-19 and some other disease does not mean COVID-19 killed them, that is true. Likewise, our hospitals have also had tons of false reporting and attribution to COVID-19 being the disease that killed people that already had underlying diseases that in fact killed them. 6% is ONLY for people that had no other disease and so could clearly be attributed to COVID-19. The number is higher than 9,000 but it’s also not as high as 180,000.

So 9000 that we know the CHINESE FLU killed. First, call it by the name that would have been used by common tradition, not the anesthetized name favored by fake news. The rest had it and also died, so no confident causality of death. Manyeven had some symptoms that could be attributed to it but no test was given. For those fatalities, the average comorbidity was 2.4 or 2.6 (I forget which), which is crazily high. That means a great many of those had 4 or 5 comorbid medical diagnoses that might have actually killed them, yet was attributed to the one that suits the leftist's purposes. I'll go by the stat that actually say with confidence the Chinese Flu killed them, not by a muddy number with zero verifiable validity.

The majority had serious comorbidities. Usually cardiac, respiratory or kidney health issues that were already endangering their life.

Many of the people who came in and died, had these underlying issues but hadn't seen a doctor in months or years. Some of them had never been diagnosed with these health issues, even though it was clear as day that they had them from their tests. Here's an example (detauils and numbers slightly altered so there is no match with any patient chart)

Me: "What have you been taking for your high blood pressure?"

Patient: "I don't have high blood pressure."

Me: "185/110 is high blood pressure. Your BNP is 345, which typically indicates congestive heart failure. Your EKG shows an inferior septal infarct of unknown age. "

Patient: "I've been healthy all my life."

Patient's spouse: "I've been telling patient to go to a doctor for years. Patient wakes up gasping for air, won't quit smoking and has been very sick for months."

I look at patient

Patient: "Yeah, spouse wanted me to come in since last October."

Patient technically died that night in the hospital with cardiac arrest. We got ROSC, intubated the patient sent them to the ICU. It took a long time before patient was able to go home. The patient survived. Had they died, it would have been classified as a Covid death. The patient was Covid positive, but that was only an incidental factor. A cold, a flu, a UTI, or a bad skin infection would have just as easily killed this patient.

The same is true for most of the "covid" deaths I have seen. This doesn't mean it was all of them. A few otherwise healthy young patients we had died from this disease and nothing else that we know of. Those were usually very rapid declines - people dying in a matter of hours. Fortunately, the vast majority of Covid cases we are seeing don't need to be hospitalized. The ones that do almost always have serious comorbidities.

If your industry wouldn't charge that man $30k after insurance for a high blood pressure visit, he might go more often.

1
MedPede 1 point ago +1 / -0

In general terms, you are correct about outrageous prices.

Preventative visits, and routine wellness office visits for stuff like blood pressure shouldn't cost anything. I know a lot of insurance companies do add on a BS copay cost, but that shouldn't be allowed either, unless someone was abusing it and that could be done on a case by case basis.

When it comes to procedures and things out of the norm, a good portion (25-33%+) of what you are paying goes to pay for people who don't pay for their health care. Some aren't legally in the country and have no insurance. Others don't have insurance because there's no affordable plan for them and a few just choose not to pay for insurance or their bills.

Overhead to process all the claims is 10-15% of your bill.

It's hard to tell how many people here actually think covid has killed only 9,000 and how many are just being wise guys.

13
mumbohnumbah5 [S] 13 points ago +14 / -1

The larger number (150k~ [which is STILL low]) is with an average of 3 co-morbidities AND 90% of that is in older generations.

We're not being wise-guys, we're just being wise. :)

3
Staatssicherheit 3 points ago +4 / -1

I actually thought that too. But I was mistaken. They are not talking strictly about conditions that make you more susceptible to succumb to covid like diabetes or high blood pressure. Look at Table 3.

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm

They are talking about diagnosis on the death certificate. Covid is the direct underlying condition that leads things like ARDS, pneumonia and renal failure that actually kill the patient. No one dies of covid. No one should just have covid on their death certificate and nothing else. The 6% is what is likely the medical error. These are the ones there needs to be an audit to see if they actually died "of covid" instead of "with covid."

MedPede 4 points ago +4 / -0

The covid related renal failures I have seen were almost always* in patients that had renal issues before hand (acute on chronic). Skipping dialysis is NOT a good idea.

*We have had a few acute kidney dysfunction Covid patients. Usually it was patients with Rhabdo and Covid that we admitted to the hospital. Although it is possible for Covid to cause rhabdomyolysis the cases I have seen have been from some combination of muscle injury, dehydration, infection and substance abuse.
