It’s a very fine line. Defending the rights of people holding ideas you find reprehensible comes off as sympathizing when observers feel strongly that they would violate the rights of those reprehensible people.
But they are not defending the ideas, only the right to have them. Pool is a bit left of Trump but is showing bis flexibility in positioning when confronted with the reality that Trump is outstanding in his conviction to put America first. Barr Is well trained in the bureaucracy Of law enforcement at the federal level and is steadfast in his meticulous investigation
