It progressed steadily in Texas and up until Abbott ordered the statewide mandate, you could go into just about any store in my red county (except Costco) without a mask. Now, it's everywhere. I reject it all out and I just keep a neck gaiter handy if I need something in a store but even then, I wear it below my nose so I can breath.
