I think it's a business to him first, MAGA second. He likes to ride the line of what he can say without being suicided with 2 bullets to the back of the head. I was never really interested in him until 2015, and when he was removed from Youtube I stopped following him. He's not saying anything I don't know already. I'm sick of people constantly "calling out to someone to do something!". I already know that. We need a leader, and Trump is one politically, but when the SHTF (and it will) I don't think Jones will be on the front line.
