Yes agreed, mine attends a religious school, which can be left on some issues. We still re-enforce our moral foundation and point out our differences. At least the public school can't constantly work against us and corrupt what we're trying to accomplish.
My kid is in private school, not only do they say the pledge but also pray. It was a big financial sacrifice, but it was worth it.
