Man, I'm ashamed to say...We had to do the pledge when I was a kid and I sat down like a shitbird because I didn't want anyone telling me what to do.

Now, I stand.

If I can take any solace at all, its that I've always been anti-authority and now, the authority wants me to hate my country, and I don't. I love this country and my head is on straight. I'll die for your kid's right to enjoy even half of the greatness I've been afforded.
