Honestly, I agree. And to me it feels like another one of those things used to indoctrinate us. I am talking about in the schools of course. There just seems to be something wrong with making children pledge their allegiance to anything really.
Francis Bellamy was a commie. The Pledge is creepy when one learns it's history. It's hiding socialism in patriotism.
I'm teaching my kid the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Federalist Papers, On Liberty.
