i have been saying this the entire time. i am from canada. when the vancouver canucks lost the stanley cup to boston in 2011 they rioted and some cop cars got burnt etc. the RCMP and VPD spent the next year combing over footage and facebook posts.they ended up laying 800+ charges on 268 people.that was 9 years ago .technology has grown exponentially since them .idiots post vids of themselves doing crime right on their twitter ans instagram these days. i would expect a lot of charges to be laid in the future and people are providing the state with their own evidence
