Also why the hell would the White House notify every staff member in the hospital that a VIP is coming? That’s a huge security risk.

Also who the hell actually tells anyone that the VP is on standby to assume emergency powers? It's not exactly the thing Pence would run out and tell anyone. Only people who might know would be the Secret Service and you know they aren't fucking breathing a word of a potential threat to the safety of our presidency.
