Zero chance he does it in a debate format that has been the standard for forever. He may "debate" in some weird way that is advertised as trendy and cutting edge though. I don't know what that looks like but it would be something conducted via webcam so it's "COVID-safe" and so that sly manipulation is more possible. Blaming technical difficulty on cutting responses, some fake live polling of popularity of responses or as simple as degrading/manipulating footage of Trump to make it appear as though he doesn't have it together.
But all the changes will be made purely to benefit Biden and they'll fight tooth and nail to ensure that is the case.
Remember, even if he (Biden) loses there is the opportunity to bolster "resistance" positions in 2024.
I saw it here; the idea that the DNC doesn't want to burnout any new blood on this election but rather sacrifice a candidate and running mate now and hit harder in 2024.
It's a cunning strategy, really. And an obviously good long term planning if the goal is usurpation of the last free nation. They've waited 3/4 of a century - what's four more years? Don't tarnish a real, radical candidate with a loss at such a pivotal time. Trump has real odds of winning. If a radical (or a puppet) can be established now, then cool. But bank on the current strategy that is proving somewhat effective. Trump has taken the GOP by storm. After he is mandated, by the Constitution, to leave office the opportunity ripens. The figure head of the party has left office and now any GOP candidate put forward is "No true Scotsman." If I were a Dem/Commy that would be the real show for propaganda effort.
Make no mistake, if the gettin' can be had now it will be got. But it will never end.
