Obviously there’s millions and millions of people with TDS and that’s just the nature of the beast but when there’s someone in your family that you feel close to that is so blind to what’s happening it’s really bothersome. Someone that just accepts everything the talking heads on tv tell them at face value with no ability to question anything and look beyond what’s being fed to them, it really sucks when someone close to you can’t see through the bullshit. Just had to get that off my chest.
It is infuriating that it is so clear the media is lying yet my family members believe it and think I’m nuts. People can’t agree to disagree anymore and it’s insane how they get so mad about it. I hope after the election we can all come back together or the holidays are going to be weird.
Unfortunately I don’t think there’s any chance of reconciliation, it’s way too polarized at this point. It’s a tough situation to be in when you wanna keep a positive and loving relationship with your family but there’s this very noticeable almost spiritual divide that you can feel and you can try to ignore it but it ultimately ends up getting in the way. Fuck the media they have ruined this country 100% and they should be jailed for this shit
I have two brothers who are glued to the kkkool aid. The perceived moral superiority of these ignorant dopes makes any conversation painful at this point. I'm afraid I'm going to explode one day and call them pedophiles. I feel your pain

If you're gonna act like Trump is a Nazi and his supporters are retards, why are you so afraid of just talking to them? Shouldn't you want to convince people to vote for Biden and stop donating to Trump? It's getting infuriating at this point.
I’m lucky, my immediate family are pretty standard in the middle type people, and support Trump, and my uncle and his wife are the same. However, I have an aunt and two cousins who are in the ignorance pool and we just don’t really talk politics with them. One of the cousins, I send videos of Biden slurring and mumbling his way around and things like that and they send back “funny”(left can’t meme) blm bs to me. I suppose, in that sense,I’m also lucky because there is no rift in my family from politics.
