I got about 5 months off in 2009. I thought we got an extra $25 a week or something like that. Some people qualified for extended benefits that went way beyond the usual 6 months, but that may have started before Obama took office.
I know they gave a few extensions of 13 weeks. They may have given a few extra bucks for a very short period of time, but nothing compared to $600 a week in addition to the states weekly benefit. I remember I was getting about $1100 a month.
It's extended 90 days during an emergency situation. From what I remember reading before that got buried by all the new propaganda is that people got $300 as a one time and something like $25 extra a week, so that makes sense.
