I’ve met Germans vehemently defending their lack of free speech. Like, full-out admitting that they want their govt to make it a felony - for sedition, no less - to say things, usually when Hitler or the nose tribe is involved.

Read up on the history of free speech, which was originally based on a court case. I guarantee you that you can talk about it on social media without getting arrested if you learn how to talk, and that is the road to free speech everywhere. Why don't Germans work for it?
And if you say anything negative about it on Facebook or Twitter the police comes to arrest you.
America is the only country in the planet where there's freedom of speech. Never forget this.

Compare with how much guilt the average Turk feels about his country's genocides.
