If you are a Trump supporter in school, you might want to record every class you're in, in the hopes of catching the Marxist teachers and get them fired. It will get easier the more this is done. Become active to be effective.
I’ve had one professor that was very openly anti Trump at my small liberal school. I made the mistake of correcting a blatant lie that she spoke about Trump while we covered the topic of “fake news” in her English class.
Few weeks later I had an assignment discussing Martin Luther kings speech and after she graded it I saw I had a 0 and she said to come talk to her. She told me she had given me a strike for plagiarism in the schools database. Another strike I fail her class and a third I’m expelled.
Brought it to my advisor and told her the situation and felt like I was being persecuted for my political views and some classmates backed me up. Meet with the head of the English department a few hours later. Paper gets an actual grade and that was the last semester that lady taught at my school.
What's the scary part is that one teacher can assume she can cancel your entire learning experience, reputation and possibly get you a legal record, by going to a database and marking you as something you are not -- the worst she can do.
I hope she got more than kicked out. I hope she went to jail.
Sheer arrogance; having their narrow-mindedness encouraged and praised by their morally bankrupt peers; and being stupid enough to listen to the lies of a mainstream press owned by the very 'establishment' they claim to stand against.
Awesome, dont let these bullies try to intimidate you. Not as serious, but I remember I was in a French elective back around the time Hugo Chavez died and the teacher spent the entire fucking class talking about what a great man he was and how he saved Venezuela blah blah blah. But despite being a commie he never pulled anything like that. I wasnt really political at the time, but I remember him getting into arguments with a guy who was really conservative in class and he never tried to fuck him over like that.
I’m all for disagreeing. I’ve had discussions with some professors over somewhat political topics and I know some are anti Trump but they try to not let their bias show. What that professor did was absolutely insane though. Trying to put me on the path to getting expelled all because I corrected a blatant lie she told
Stupid bitch was probably running your paper through a "plagiarism detector" program instead of, y'know, actually reading it. Quite a few professors have been disciplined or worse for doing that, because the stupid programs cannot tell when quoted material is properly footnoted and attributed ; it just detects that it had an 'original source'. Obviously it was pure malice on her part, but some idiots who falsely accused ENTIRE CLASSES of turning in plagiarized papers were just being lazy.
It would be awesome to keep going down this road. Hold their feet to the fire. Push them out of their comfortable little circles of academic invulnerability.
Most universities have policies against hate speech. A good lawyer could turn the professor's rant into proof of hate speech against conservative students. This would especially be true if there were lots of students who taped and experienced this.
Right, it was an architectural design class. There was zero need to mention Trump in a political sense. It could be argued that Trump did contribute to architectural design in NY and Chicago though, so discussing Trump the Builder may fall within the lines of the class.
Saying what the dillweed said is Marxist politcal intimidation.
I'm sure this is common, hence industries that require masters degrees are flooded with Marxist SJWs. I've personally experienced this lunacy, shitty developer with a Master's in math going around the office saying all GOP should be labeled as Terrorists. He spoke with absolutely no fear of repercussions.
Freedom of speech isn't just for faculty. Plenty of higher ed case law that protects the speech of students (it is why there tends to be a lot of demonstrations on campus), and academically persecuting a student for political speech is a big no-no. I am guessing this person wasn't an actual tenured professor, as it is very hard to get them fired, but an untenured instructor that worked on a year-to-year contract and they just didn't renew her when her contract was up.
Big no-no or not, College campuses all over the Country have been shutting down voices they don't like. That NEVER happened in our history! We ALWAYS welcomed opposing viewpoints, with the idea that bad ideas can be refuted in the light of day and that's an important part of education.
i just dream of colleges that keep politics out of the classroom, aside from overtly political classes....
like "welcome to a 4000 level math course... today we're using transversal interdimensional race-informed algrebra equations, and how they primarily opress.............." like shuuuuuut tf uppppppppp
Teachers also cannot support or work against a specific campaign while acting as a member or representative of the school without losing tax exempt status.
If OP were to record this, the teacher would get fired or the school would lose tax exemption.
Well that won't work at College level. But younger than that, yes that's what Betsy DeVos was made the head over the Department of Education for. I haven't heard of her accomplishing anything.
All the most successful tech guys will say college is a waste of time because it is. We have computers and the internet. You can learn literally anything on here by experts in any field
True, but that may be a dangerous idea to spread - how exactly do you apply for a job without paper credentials? Even with the skills, you need something to get you in the door for an interview, and usually that ticket is a degree. That ticket doesn't have to come from an expensive private college though, that's the real nugget of truth to spread
Too true, but we need pedes in all fields, and sometimes we have to wade through the BS to get there. We can fight the culture war and hopefully change things down the road
Sounds like you didn't make very good choices. Either you didn't pursue a worthwhile degree, or went to a terrible school...sounds like your experience is only worth a precautionary tale of what not to do. Not how to make college a good investment
Ask anyone who hires in tech fields. Experience>>>>>>>Degree
Ill speak on coding specifically because that is what I know. Someone who spent 3 years on khan academy making projects, learning code, and working with other people on team projects will be hired 100 times out of 100 vs someone with only a degree. It is the same for most tech fields. They care about what you have done and most college grads haven't done many if any, real-world applications
This touches on a big problem! I hate to use the word "systemic," but that expensive piece of paper still wields too much influence in getting hired. And now all it does is screens for sjw-ness, lack of creativity, and lack of critical thought.
What about ability? I would hope in the tech field ability would reign supreme ...
There is a reason why college grads are having a tough time finding jobs. It's because they all require "experience" to get in the door, not a degree. If someone spends 3 years learning AND creating on their own and develops a decent portfolio they are much more attractive as an entry-level hire to any competent company vs someone with only a degree. A degree shows that you did the bare minimum to get in. Showing initiative and doing your own projects and learning on your own is the way to go 100% of the time. At least in stem fields
I'm glad she got the Obama era Title IX letter rescinded.
Before that any disagreement by a male with any female, especially a feminist professor, was considered sexual harassment. Even in cases where the female accuser admitted she lied the male was still expelled. Males couldn't see evidence against them and these kangaroo courts were composed almost exclusively of women's studies majors.
That's not everything, but it's not nothing either.
I'm answering your question. You asked why home schooling won't work at a college level. Homeschooling won't work at a college level because parents aren't able to homeschool college students. The other options all involve indoctrination. Unless I'm misunderstanding you.
Ok, fair point. I stand corrected! Yet those degrees have a reputation of not being worth the paper they're printed on. I'm sure that varies. Some fields of study, you absolutely need hands-on activity. Other things work very well online, but there are always students who need more.
Testing, at any level, should be in person and monitored. Time limits also matter in any situation I can think of, although many are very generous and that's ok. This brings up the point that public education K-12 should have seen massive reforms starting no later than 10 years ago. Facilities (school buildings) still have a place, but they don't need to be where everyone congregates for everything.
Believe it, I work in big tech in a very conservative state. The balls on these assholes that just assume everyone is a communist comrade...... I'm here to tell you that the schools are 10 to 20 times worse
This happened to my daughter. She asked my advice on the matter. I told her to record every class, which she did, and then I had a stroke of genius. I told her to throw one reddit-tard lefty comment into every paper. Don't force it, don't make it unnatural but when the opportunity arises say some super dumb lefty crap. So far she has received an A on every single assignment and has a 4.0 GPA. Pretty easy to manipulate the NPC's.
She didn't catch anything egregious. Just general liberal asshattery. If anything ever does happen she will be protected. That was the most important thing to me.
"I know this is a paper about Renaissance artists, but black lives matter, so instead of writing about white supremacy I'm going to write about tribal enslavement in Ghana during the same time period"
That has to be SCAD? Savannah College of Art and Design, you can take a wild guess which way the majority of students (and probably all of the staff) lean... You can pick a SCAD kid out from a mile away. they all look the same, and are fragile, safe spacing, trigger happy, haters of conservatives and all things Trump.
I do like savannah though, and have nothing against art and design school, they are just too hipster and cool for my taste.
Seams there are only 4 Architecture programs in Georgia and the only one offered in Savannah is SCAD. Looks like they offer a Master of Architecture. I have never been to the area, does the state recognize it's accreditation for the states Architecture Licenses?
Tried to look it up and found it interesting that you can be an Interior Designer in Georgia without acquiring your NCIDQ. If that's the case it sounds like the state is lax on standards for licensed professionals.
Haha I have no clue what a NCIDQ is, nor how to answer your question. But I went to college near Savannah and we would go down there and drink once a month. I always thought Savannah was cool little city, but not much to do besides bar hop and eat.
The Atlanta campus of SCAD is only about a mile from Georgia Tech. Even the thirsty Tech boys know to stay away from SCAD girls. No reason to ruin your life over mediocre pussy.
If I were in that class I would have stood right up and say I’m a Trump supporter and I’m not going anywhere. I’m paying you to teach me architecture, if you don’t do your damn job I will sue the fuck out of you.
Why can’t these fucking Marxist bastards be sued especially if it were a state college.
Okay, but I am very conservative and I also go to SCAD. That's why I had to look at this when I heard about it because I was very outraged. But SCAD classes don't even start for the Fall until the 14th, and summer classes are already over. So I don't know what class this would be coming from since right now the school is on break.. there are no classes.. I'm not saying this story is fake, it's definitely believable, but it is confusing to say the least about which school it is from.
Maybe it's time for all of the people with guns to tell all the people without guns, that they should get out of the country. If this is how they want to play the game, we can play it back to them. There is no political solution for what ails America right now. We are way past politics.
I think, in more instances than I'd like to admit, "______ told me..." and it's derivatives are our sides, "_______ and everybody clapped."/"my 4 year old said _______."
If so, our side's stories are infinity times more believable. Remember that the foundation of Democrat's and communists' world view is pure lies. Everything is a mirage.
Should have walked out of that college entirely. SCAD is a scam. I would rather get a degree from DeVry than SCAD. If you graduate from there all it means is your parents had $200k+ to drop on a freaking art degree, that’s all. They let anyone in regardless of talent too. I hope there were no Trump supporters in that room because they should know enough peripheral economics to know that shithole isn’t worth it.
I read "Savannah," then I read "architectural design," and I knew without reading further that it was S.C.A.D. I was accepted to there when I got out of the Navy (applied from listening to suggestion from my mother), but instead went straight to work in DoD/Aerospace Engineering. I'm glad AF that I did that.
Oh...I almost forgot. My car got ticketed there for parking in ambiguously-marked space when my brother and I attended our uncle's funeral reception at the Oglethorpe Club across the square. Bastards.
SCAD is a shithole I grew up with someone who went there now they have a position of status at NPR. The products of these liberal indoctrination camps are ruining our society.
NPR has been attacking TRUMP relentlessly - and in a so fu fu 'ivory tower' British accent - "I could not possibly be wrong" style that the Prof crowd just sucks in all in daily... and vomits it out at the students...
It's bad... they are emotionally trapped, ALL their prof friends are the same... and to even attempt to discuss politics leads to instant rage...
I'm guessing that happened at SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) which is one of the most expensive art schools in the nation, and very liberal accordingly. Chatham County (which is mostly Savannah) is and has been a very blue county surrounded by red counties for quite some time.
Based on description the school is SCAD - Savannah College of Art and Design
This would not surprise me as it is filled with poets, artists, dancers – these kind of men preferred peace to war. These delicate lovely men found a place of refuge among the commies at SCAD. Amidst the macho brutality of war this was a place where dandies and dreamers could put on plays and sing tender ballads and dance in the moonlight. I like to think of SCAD as the Underground Railroad for the sensitive… and well… fabulous.
Savannah had a "blacks only" political event like a year or two ago. Also home to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Don't remember it being bad, but there were some students protesting a building's name a while back.
This story will sound fake but it legitimately happened. When I was attending a rather liberal college I had a Statistics professor give me an "F" on my final which tanked my grade to a "D" (the final was worth about 50% of the grade). I snagged a copy of someone else's final that got an "A" just to compare answers since I felt I had nailed the final and was completely surprised. Every single answer given was roughly the same compared to the "A" final. I brought the professor to Student Grievance Court and lost. It never dawned on me that my political beliefs were what prompted that professor to literally attempt to harm my future until a classmate of mine overheard her talking to other professors about "failing Conservative students," or "ones that support Bush."
Fast-forward one year later and I find out that professor passed away in her house, alone, with pieces of her body eaten by her 5 cats. I AM NOT making that up.
If you are a Trump supporter in school, you might want to record every class you're in, in the hopes of catching the Marxist teachers and get them fired. It will get easier the more this is done. Become active to be effective.

I love stories with a happy ending.
Makes me happy knowing she isn’t influencing anyone else at least at my college

or a train. A train with no brakes.
FUCK. YES. CHOO CHOO!!
RIP Kevin Sorbo's character in God's Not Dead
Yeah it sounds like she was pretty confident in her threats. How do people get like this?
Sheer arrogance; having their narrow-mindedness encouraged and praised by their morally bankrupt peers; and being stupid enough to listen to the lies of a mainstream press owned by the very 'establishment' they claim to stand against.
Lol its been going on for years. What is "recommendations."
Should be prosecuted as fraud. College is not cheap.
Very, very nice.

We can change things together 👍🏻 stay strong fren.
On what basis would you get them fired? For promoting Marxism? For prejudice against conservatives?
They'll just get promoted if that gets presented to the administration.
Intimidation is not enough. Gregor Clegane might have a solution.
Most universities have policies against hate speech. A good lawyer could turn the professor's rant into proof of hate speech against conservative students. This would especially be true if there were lots of students who taped and experienced this.

Communists love Brutalism, the architecture Trump nixed for Federal buildings.
They love putting ugly buildings on expensive real estate to demoralize us, just like Yuri said
People need to be taught concepts like fear.
Seems we have a whole country of sheeple that are deathly afraid of this Plandemic
Hostile learning environment. Also, iirc, this kind of stuff was successfully litigated as invasion of privacy.
Taxes. The school cannot actively support or work against specific candidates.
Send it to F.I.R.E. They are the experts. https://www.thefire.org/

This needs people's attention.
Big lawsuit if true.
Professors and faculty cannot directly support or oppose specific politicians without the school losing tax exempt status.
Record it.
I believe it. They taught me all kinds of bullshit I’m still learning the extent of.
Well that won't work at College level. But younger than that, yes that's what Betsy DeVos was made the head over the Department of Education for. I haven't heard of her accomplishing anything.

Sounds like you didn't make very good choices. Either you didn't pursue a worthwhile degree, or went to a terrible school...sounds like your experience is only worth a precautionary tale of what not to do. Not how to make college a good investment
You take skill tests, which are more realistic but take more employer effort.
Which would be something to thoroughly research and be aware of before taking the advice of disregarding college altogether

What came of the recordings of obvious discrimination?
She didn't catch anything egregious. Just general liberal asshattery. If anything ever does happen she will be protected. That was the most important thing to me.
Stopping this discrimination wherever possible is an important fight
Oh if she gets something incriminating it's game on. All she has so far is professors sharing their (idiotic) opinions.
Good man! All the best to you and yours. You probably saw how Ben Shapiro played their game, got the paper, and came out?
No, I just grew up in California. Screwing with libs is my hobby

The Atlanta campus of SCAD is only about a mile from Georgia Tech. Even the thirsty Tech boys know to stay away from SCAD girls. No reason to ruin your life over mediocre pussy.
Haha I had a couple buddies that went to tech and they would say the same thing, which is bad because tech is literally a giant sausage fest.
The military boys in Savannah do the same thing. Avoid at all costs.
Fine arts and design education is dead.
Anyone who is serious about learning it as a trade should pick up books and find one good mentor and offer free help in exchange for experience.
Other than that you will be wasting your time and money on a curriculum that's easily 60%+ critical theory and relativism.
If I were in that class I would have stood right up and say I’m a Trump supporter and I’m not going anywhere. I’m paying you to teach me architecture, if you don’t do your damn job I will sue the fuck out of you.
Why can’t these fucking Marxist bastards be sued especially if it were a state college.
and then you'd get a failing grade. These micro-tyrant leftists thrive off lording over people.
You recorded it and then sued for retaliation.
Sounds like SCAD, don’t even have to look
100% definitely is. I went to SCAD. I believe they're the only school that offers a Master's in Architecture in Savannah.

Long overdue.
Hope he left.
Apparently he did.
Awesome. Hope he's demanding a refund and raising hell.
SCAD? Wouldnt surprise me.
Thought the same thing. No surprise at all.

Depends on the employer really.

Yeah. Can't support the guy who actually built skyscrapers across the globe in a architect class
Ha ha, yeah, the kid should have raised his hand and asked, "When you say support Trump, do you mean from an architectural standpoint, or what?"
Yeah, but they'll find a way to denigrate the architecture.
Even though building Trump Tower on 5th Avenue before he was 40 is a feat unrivaled almost anywhere. Any real estate person knows this.
SCAD is a shithole I grew up with someone who went there now they have a position of status at NPR. The products of these liberal indoctrination camps are ruining our society.
These people need to not only lose their jobs but their degrees and teaching certificates. A fucking slide show could do a better job.
Too bad all of the good architects are working and not teaching.
Conservatives in colleges just keep quiet so they don't get bullied, harassed, expelled, or have their grades docked.
Then they grow up to be RINOS.
SCAD. - Savanah College of Art and Design... a private Art School. Is that supposed to be surprising?
he should stay in the class and design a new Trump Tower
Hostile environment. Sue them.

It's bad... they are emotionally trapped, ALL their prof friends are the same... and to even attempt to discuss politics leads to instant rage...
Every NPR listener I’ve ever met is the definition of elitism.
Funny if they were wearing a MAGA hat and raised their hand and said “define support?”
SCAD is a liberal shit hole
College is cancer! Expensive cancer!
must be scad. i went to ac design school. failed artists are who become designers and we all know how extreme failed artist are
I'm guessing that happened at SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) which is one of the most expensive art schools in the nation, and very liberal accordingly.
Was this at SCAD? Only design school down there?
No surprise
We have a unique chance now to record K-Ph.D classes and broadcast this out to all of the conservative media. Make use of it.
Yea, burrito chad drew attention to the fact there are easily concealable pen cams on amazon for $40
Yes, and they're all pretty nervous about that. It may be the only thing that gets the unions to cave and open schools later in the fall.
They're shitting bricks. That's why we have to strike while the iron is hot.
Indeed.
The college classroom has lost Its significance.
My guess is he's not a big fan of gold escalators.
Savannah had a "blacks only" political event like a year or two ago. Also home to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Don't remember it being bad, but there were some students protesting a building's name a while back.
This architecture class is almost certainly a SCAD class.
Must be at SCAD
If the student doesn't report it to school officials, he's part of the problem.
Raise your hand and say "I support the constitution on the USA and I love America. Is that the same thing?"
Ah, the left is starting off light today, instead of Atlas Shrugged, they are starting with The Fountainhead.
lol was this SCAD? Unsurprising if so. I dealt with the same shit in 2015/2016 in my undergrad. Walked out of class a few times for sure.
They are going to turn the socialism in schools up to 100. They aren't hiding anymore.
Dox the professor and flood his inbox with complaints. Let's be proactive

Must be at SCAD.
