High property taxes, water bills and insurance. Public schools and services are useless. The roads are terrible even though they're always under construction. Grocery stores that sell anything besides liquor and snack food are only located in the suburbs.
We should relocate the refugees that were sent to middle America to NY. All from Idaho, Minnesota, Maine, Colorado etc.

The white flight out of the cities in the 60's & 70's to the suburbs is what doomed the cities like NYC for decades and just when whites finally felt NYC and other cities were safe again the libs pulled the rug out from them yet again. I remember well NYC in the 70's, it was a hell hole littered with stollen cars left stripped up on blocks, burned out buildings in Manhatten, the Bronx & Brooklyn with crime all over, the police were hunted for sport... Deblasio is bringing it all back. I hope the libs that are fleeing the cities now get woke to the lefts sacrifice of them.

I saw Times Square and NYC back in 93'. Piss soaked, XXX theatres everywhere, garbage piled on the streets. Ugly, unhappy people everywhere. Was a total shit hole. Sounds like they're wanting to rebirth into that again.
Unfortunately the conservative, middle class demographic of the outter boroughs isnt there anymore and they were the reason Rudy got voted in.
Middle class in NYC flew out to the island or upstate years ago. Its probably gonna be a really long time before NYC sees another GOP mayor.
