I’m sure people said that about Detroit at one time too.

God I hope you are right. I really do, my life fell apart a few years back and I became homeless. I set my sites on the big apple for the opportunity it could afford me, I didn't have anything else so this city was all I had. Just as I was getting back on my feet, a roof over my head and good food in my belly, just when I was thinking that I would never go hungry again it all got shut down.

I came here for the open mic nights, the theatrical jobs, the acting jobs, the voice acting jobs all of it. All for it to fall apart just when I was ready to start fighting for my slice of the american dream.

It would really suck for me if I wake up tomorrow in the new Detroit.
