Just left the suburb of NY that literally touches the Bronx. Moved completely out of state. I drove into Manhattan all the time. The problem isn’t exactly that the city is turning to shit. COVId has forced the city to collapse. People aren’t in the streets. There is nothing to fucking do. People pay a lot to live there to have access to anything you want to do. There is nothing you’re allowed to do. No food, haircuts, gyms, parks, pools, you can eat outside if it doesn’t rain. Congrats, if it’s not fucking 90 or 30 degrees out, that seems decent but it fucking sucks. Soon every fucking city pigeon will be over your plate. No one wants to live in a god damn 4000 dollar concrete box with nowhere to go. You’re in prison with all the other lunatics. Everyone is getting the fuck out. What is hysterical is that everyone in the city is moving to the county next door. THE WHOLE TRI STATE AREA IS SUPPORTED BY MANHATTAN. when the city fails so does every fucking thing around it.
