Looking back at the RNC there were none of the Rinos there. It's as if the RNC was a changing of the gaurd. I've said in the past that after leaving the WH Trump should start a third party. But now I don't believe that, as he's simply moulded the Rep party into one that anyone, including independents can be a part of.

I believe from now on, Rinos will no longer be welcome, and the few that are still there won't get a seat at the table, and get to set the agenda. This will mean no new never ending wars and jobs being shipped overseas.

Just wondering in the future, could Trump be RNC Chair or some other influential position within the party to keep it honest?

They are no longer a concern.

They are on borrowed time and they know this. Paul Ryan is gone, John McCain is dead, and Mitt Romney will never serve another term in office after his political suicide during the impeachment hearing.

The Bush Republicans (RINOs) tried to gain back some semblance of power by setting up a “Party-in-Exile” in the form of the Lincoln Project, but it was a weak attempt at best. They will never gain back power in the RNC, they might as well join the Democrats.
