Looking back at the RNC there were none of the Rinos there. It's as if the RNC was a changing of the gaurd. I've said in the past that after leaving the WH Trump should start a third party. But now I don't believe that, as he's simply moulded the Rep party into one that anyone, including independents can be a part of.

I believe from now on, Rinos will no longer be welcome, and the few that are still there won't get a seat at the table, and get to set the agenda. This will mean no new never ending wars and jobs being shipped overseas.

Just wondering in the future, could Trump be RNC Chair or some other influential position within the party to keep it honest?

The world is ready for a major political realignment, and I think it's happening. Hopefully the process completes.

The problem was that the left abandoned individualism and the right forgot how to articulate conservatism without resorting to religion and "we said so."

Trump comes along and is the wrench in the broken system. He shocks the right into grappling with their issues, and provokes the left into letting their mask slip.

Next, a few things need to happen.

One, the left needs to be humiliated and scattered to the winds. Then they can reform with real ideas.

Two, when Trump finally leaves office, he needs to be immediately followed by a new sort of conservative. Not like the old, but not the same as Trump. Someone who represents a more sober development of the right following Trump's passionate reconstruction. We'll need continuity of principles while showing that personality and attitude can change to suit the times.
