At some point around ten years ago, everyone else's feelings became my responsibility. Total 180 turn from everything I was taught as a child in the 70's-80's.

Poor bastards will never ever know or experience how great it was to be a kid during that time.

Wouldn't trade it for any of this stupid shit now.

My take on it is that the spoiled brat kids who were never raised to be proper adults ended up having children and grandchildren. Definitely some failed parenting going on. Just my observation.

Well, comparing the life we had to those who came before and those around the world - you know, 99% of folks who've ever lived - we were/are spoiled. The difference is/was - we knew it AND WERE GRATEFUL!
