It still bothers the heck out of me that they did such a hard 180 on masks.

So I'm supposed to believe that the medical community was aware of viruses since the early 1900's...and over one hundred years later they confidently tell us not to wear masks....and then suddenly they were totally wrong and we need to wear masks? And GOGGLES!?!?
And HCQ. For over fifty years it has been used...and suddenly it's bad and deadly???
And so many freaking people see this and don't connect the dots..."Well I guess they didn't know HCQ was bad overnight. They didn't know cloth masks were helpful overnight."
This is the exact same thing that got me on the trump train.
One day I'm watching the apprentice laughing at "You're fired" along with all the other fans of trump; and then by monday morning he was the most hated person on TV?

Yep. I like him for a lot of reasons but I didn't need any other reasons than, "they all hate him". Once they made that clear I was all in.
I'm personally a big fan of him being sober and not drinking, everything else is great too.
While still human and with faults, Trump has some excellent qualities that appeal to all people that are looking solely for a brave man with heart to lead this country to being the best it can be.
He inspired me to quit drinking entirely.
It was that simple for me. I've never seen the establishment unite against someone like that except maybe Ron Paul.
Kind of reminds me how Donald Trump was never called a racist until he got into politics.
It was an obvious plan they had to tell the public that masks are useless so people wouldn't buy them up and make them scarce for medical workers. They knew from the get go that once hospitals had "enough" masks they would do a 180 and tell us all to wear them. They treated us like children. It was one of the most cynical moments in the history of public policy.
I'll raise you one more. Here in Oregon the legislature was looking at making it so wearing a mask during a protest or riot is an enhanced charge back in January. It was tabled in committee in April when the first mask recommendation came out. Then, less than a week after George Floyd killed himself, statewide mask mandate.
Further, goggles tell police you intend on being a front-line shit starter and face down their attempts at quelling the riot. All the sudden goggle mandates are being strongly encouraged.
Democrats are protecting the rioters.
They could just be honest about the masks and say that very specific masks work in very specific circumstances. But no, they tried to tell a half truth and now people don’t know what’s real advice or not.
The same people insist that humans are not a sexually dimorphic species, so...
