It was an obvious plan they had to tell the public that masks are useless so people wouldn't buy them up and make them scarce for medical workers. They knew from the get go that once hospitals had "enough" masks they would do a 180 and tell us all to wear them. They treated us like children. It was one of the most cynical moments in the history of public policy.
I'll raise you one more. Here in Oregon the legislature was looking at making it so wearing a mask during a protest or riot is an enhanced charge back in January. It was tabled in committee in April when the first mask recommendation came out. Then, less than a week after George Floyd killed himself, statewide mask mandate.
Further, goggles tell police you intend on being a front-line shit starter and face down their attempts at quelling the riot. All the sudden goggle mandates are being strongly encouraged.
Democrats are protecting the rioters.
