My parents, one of whom is a die-hard Democrat and the other who is extremely suspicious of Republicans after the events following 9/11 are both voting for Trump this year. They haven't voted in over a decade, but can see how absolutely insane the Dems are right now, and that they are pushing for real totalitarianism and the suppression of people's rights.

They were also turned off by the non-stop hate coverage of Trump. The fact that the Democrats were trying to block aid was a gigantic wake-up call to the one who usually supports the Dems.

So they went and registered to vote for the first time in forever, and will definitely be turning out to vote Trump back in. The former Democrat has also stated that they'll be voting straight Republican ticket so that Trump can get the support he needs to stop the shutdowns. They're just quiet, working class people. The kind that the media completely ignores. Just imagine how many thousands more there are who will be doing the same thing.
