pNo. It's not. If you have been paying attention since atleast the early 80's, you would realize it's just one big festering neon distraction- all these swamp fucks engaged in their sick fucking games, while most normal people just want to live their lives and find some peace and happiness.

It's generally the narcissists (some aren't evil and are necessary), the sociopaths (same), psychopaths, and borderline personality disorder (this is probably what most of the swamp is comprised of). Most of these fucks literally look at people as being pawns in chess- It's all a sick game to these evil bastards.

Eliminate retirement benefits entirely for government workers. After all, it’s about “public service” not personal enrichment, right?

Mortgage has nothing to do with the value of a home. We own a house with no mortgage, does that mean that we should rent it for free?

Rent is whatever the market value for that neighborhood and similar properties are.

Also, not sure what this has to do with the topic at hand.

What the fuck does that have to do with it? In any event, the extra $400 helps with maintenance, to cover damages by tenant, late payments or non-payment by tenant (who in some states could refuse to pay rent for up to a year before being evicted). It also pays for updates to the house as needed- and a cushion for when the property isn't being rented. And really, an extra $4,800 a year isn't really worth the headache.

I have rental houses. 400 dollars a month is not nearly enough to make it worth putting up with renters.

They destroy your property and they wont pay forcing you to evict giving them an extra 3 months free.

One renter left a 4 ft tall stack of used diapers on the screened back.porch because they didn't want to pay 10 month for garbage pick up. You can imagine what i had to pay somebody to clean up that filth.

Its a nightmare. I'm selling my rental houses now because no amount of money is worth that headache.
