Partial correction: They will have to get a lefty judge to agree to that, since deadlines are a matter of state law. If they find that lefty judge, they'll have to get the state supreme court to agree to it (most state supreme courts are not yet packed with toadies like Oregon's is.) Even if they can get a state supreme court to agree to such fuckery, the US Supreme Court can step in if appealed to on matters of national election (see also Bush v. Gore, December 2000.)
