I don't post often, but over the past couple of weeks I've noticed an uptick in comments blaming women and immigrants for the problems in our country (most of the community doesn't fall into this category, so this isn't intended as a post targeted at the general td.win user). This needs to stop. We cannot let a trend like this continue into the election. At best, this started due to ignorance; at worst, this is a planned political attempt to paint us as racist and sexist. Either way, this type of behavior employs a divide and conquer strategy against ourselves. We need to shut this down whenever we see it.
For any conservative making this type of post, I'd like to provide some basic arguments against that manner of thinking. I don't claim to be an expert in any one of these topics, so if I've made any invalid points or stated something false, please let me know in the comments. I'm willing to accept that my views are wrong, so if you disagree, then by all means convince me otherwise.
My assumption is that posts blaming women come from the perspective that the country has become substantially more progressive after women gained the right to vote in 1920. First, it's difficult to assign that blame to any one demographic, since during that time the democratic party has used successful strategies to attract women, youth, and minorities. Second, 1920 was not a turning point for the country in terms of its tendency towards progressive policy: it started far before that, indicating that men have also increasingly voted for progressive policies. Either way, it's difficult to argue that women were even a substantial cause for the country's progressive trend.
Immigrants have not historically voted for progressive policies, so it's absurd to make this case. We're a 250 year old country that has grown substantially due to immigration during that entire period, and the American philosophy has held so steadfastly during that time that the communists hit a wall during their initial attempts to push their marxist propaganda (have's vs have not's). It's only in recent years (1960+) that the democrats have made a successful, concerted effort to win over immigrants and minorities.
It's imperative to understand the primary strategy the democrats have used to gain support: divide and conquer by choosing a demographic and then convincing one side that the other one oppresses them (see: cultural marxism). They co-opted feminism, which originally started as a movement to obtain equality under the law, and turned it into a "men oppress women" philosophy, which they cemented into society by creating entire degrees around it. They co-opted the civil rights movement to obtain equality for minorities under the law, and they turned it into a "whites oppress minorities" crusade. Since their inception, they've pitted young against old by pushing the idea that the elderly are out of touch ("ok boomer"), and they've created a system to make life more difficult for the young. This is how they work: by spreading hate.
We need to continue our pragmatic approach to saving our country. Rather than causing division, treat every person as an individual. Each person has a unique belief system and history. Welcome them with wide open arms and then convince them using the wealth of logic and reasoning behind individualist philosophy. Relentlessly showing them how much more genuinely free, fun, and caring we are will undoubtedly win over hearts and minds in droves.
Let's not do the democrats' work for them by using their strategies against ourselves.
Edit:
One comment mentioned that I'm conflating illegal immigrants with legal immigrants. That's not my intent. The posts and comments I'm trying to combat are try to make the case that legal immigration has caused a progressive trend.

Angela Merkel says hi. She destroyed Europe.
Please enlighten me so that I can update my post.
I'm aware of the phrase you took issue with. I would like to know if you can supply additional reasons for the idea that "women are the problem," so that either I can change my mind, or so that I can update my post.
It's pretty difficult to glean the underlying argument behind a comment that says "Thanks women" in response to a post about a black guy doming someone in the head with a brick. In that case, the commenter clarified that it was because BLM leadership is mostly women (clearly an excellent clarification!). That's just one example, but most posts have similarly lacking base assumptions. There's almost never a sound reason provided, aside from the one that I mentioned in the original post, which might have some truth behind it (but certainly lacks any evidence), which is why I addressed it.
Interesting. Using that logic, would you be fine with someone saying "Thanks, Charlottsville protesters" when that guy ran a truck into a group of people?
We have had four years of everything we do is racist and sexist.
That we all White rednecks.
Yet you conflate illegals with immigrants?
Some people are long past the point of giving a shit, especially when we are chased down and hunted for sport.
Your inferring that we are the problem, that if we just change it will all stop will not be looked on seriously.
This isn't about what "they" think. This is about what conservative women think when they read "women are the problem." It's about what conservative legal immigrants think when they read "immigrants are the problem." (To be clear, I'm NOT talking about illegal immigration.) If you look back in my recent post history, I commented on a highly upvoted post that originally said "Thanks women." in response to a video about a black guy doming a white guy in the street with a brick. That's the type of post I'm talking about.
I don't often respond to posts like that, but I had read so many of them in a day that I felt obligated to do it. Probably won't post again for a while, since it seems that there are quite a few people who don't agree.
I am a woman and just told you what I thought.
If someone breaks the rules, report them.
If you just don't like what they say, suck it up.
And a few examples would help. What threads are you referring to?
It will take some time to find more examples than the one in my post history, since I didn't bookmark them (my fault -- sorry). I'm curious to know your thoughts about the comment saying "Thanks women" that I mentioned above. (https://thedonald.win/p/GvdE2pDG/x/c/16ZqKmrANX)
You made a topic and didn't think to include examples, that was your first mistake.
I agree entirely with everything you've said. I've been an active part of this movement since day one, and I will continue to be so moving forward. We don't need to give a shit, but we do need to shut down people saying things like, "Women are the problem."
I'm not inferring at all that we are the problem. There's a small amount of people making these posts and comments.. Most people do not make posts or comments like I described -- it's a small minority. Most people fall into the latter category of people who are free, fun, meme-making pedes.
Also, I'm not conflating illegals with immigrants. I've literally just read a number of posts suggesting that immigrants (not illegals) are the reason we're in this state. It's precisely why I wrote this. I'll update the original post to make this obvious -- thanks for pointing it out.
Well, the question answers itself... If this years census is done correctly you will have your answer! Previous census data imo has been altered to fit the narrative that immigration is good.... but since I graduated high school in 1988 the population of this country went from 215M to what is reported now at 325M.... it’s not 325M, it’s more like 375M maybe more... so if your seeing posts that counter your opinions, it’s not unreasonable when Americans are living in their cars because they can’t afford housing because our hard earned TAXED dollars can’t compete with human trafficking labor or free and easy space profits from India and China, not to mention free and cheap Mideast petro dollars.... Americans of my gen have been getting seriously fcked over so that Joe and Hunter and pelosi can live like kings!
Can't argue with any of that. I agree. We've been getting destroyed by massive illegal immigration combined with allowing other countries to cripple sectors of our economy by repurposing funds from tariffs to subsidize local, low cost competition.
We are a tinderbox right now.... Immigrants should be more understanding of the situation we didn’t make.... our corrupt govt did starting with Bill Clinton who’s economy was built on the 60+ Million immigrants he brought here! In 8 years of Clinton he grew us to near 300... The Chinese were all funded with seed money from our trade deficit with to infiltrate California and change our politics.... China produced a document in the 90’s of how they would rule America by the year 2025.... what we are seeing now is that plan in its final stages... Fasten your Seatbelts everyone!
This is why I'm so passionate about growing this movement as much as possible. We're fighting against a calculated, well-oiled machine. It's important that we don't let anything cripple us from the inside.
Well we will have false flags that the propaganda machine will use to its advantage.... none of the old arguments work anymore. The media is over reaching in such obvious ways, they are not convincing anyone to hold their point of view. Actually they lose some one to our side each time!
Every day is an uphill battle, but I think Trump has given us an opportunity to make significant headway. I'm optimistic that we can destroy the toxic, communist propaganda that's infested society. Just gotta take it one day at a time.
