I will never understand the "cheap labor" dynamic. Cheap unskilled labor is brought in. These people are generally shitty people, that come from shitty countries, and can't even perform the expected work properly, in a lot of cases, bit it's ok, it's "cheap." While we are consuming "cheap" products/labor, these people become a drain on society, crime goes up, whatever societal gain on cheap labor ends up costing everyone else a lot more for everything else. Cool, it keeps the price of avocados down to a dollar a piece, that's awesome. Its totally worth the inflated health insurance and car insurance, and other hidden costs that aren't seen. It doesn't end up benefitting anyone. Its a wash at best.

No, it doesn't benefit US. I assure you it benefits THEM. Lower wages for everyone makes us all poorer and more dependent on our employers/government.
