I might be that guy. Im not going to flout my political stance other than to suggest I prefer to be moderate or centrist. I prefer not to watch cities burn. I prefer civil conversation. I prefer rational conversation about cultural morality. I don't think racism is systemic. I don't care about the identity of anyone as long as they are nice.
I think Trump is not a model for character, and I won't idolize him, but i don't think many people like me exist in the Biden Basement.
I'm not sure, if I am a pede, but that video of the woman in australia getting arrested for planning to bring the voice of unheard people to the publics attention terrified me. I don't want that in a America. The other side seems okay with that.
Trump might be the only way to ensure America keeps freedom.
Edit: i never expected this kind of rally around opinions! You all sound really passionate and thoughtful. I would say I feel the community for sure. Thanks to all!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Honestly I think " I prefer not to watch cities burn. I prefer civil conversation. I prefer rational conversation about cultural morality. I don't think racism is systemic. I don't care about the identity of anyone as long as they are nice." Is how most people feel or would feel in an environment where they aren't being manipulated. It's logical and pretty rational.
Anyways I just wanted to say thanks for posting & Welcome!
disclaimer: I myself am an independent. I don't like party lines. Data analyst as an occupation so I'm looking at what is the true & measurable best outcomes on a case by case basis for all americans
I also do analyst work. It's part of my sway towards the right in recent times. Coronavirus and treatment stats, unemployment, crime, and all the numbers thrown around recently do not seem to fit the narrative of those more left. Its almost like being an optimist is impossible for progressives. Everything is bad and you should feel bad is not a way to live.
