People would do well to remember that laws protect the wicked as well as the evil. In a world where the police presence is greatly diminished and pedophilia is ignored by the state what do you think is going to happen?

Let me yell you, we used to have solutions for this that were far more permanent than prison and a registry. When pushed enough...people will reach back for those solutions.
