I think people have been way overhyping the debates. Here is basically how they are going to go:

Moderator: "Mr. President, why are you so evil and racist and basically Hitler?"

Trump: Gives snarky response and talks about how great he has been/will be for the American people

Moderator: Contradicts everything Trump said, cuts off his mic when he tries to respond

CNN: "Here's how the debate moderator countered Trump's lies by fact checking him in real time"

Moderator: "Mr Biden, your health care plan is the most brilliant and forward thinking plan that has ever existed. You are so smart and such a strong leader. Why do you think this is?"

Biden: "Listen Jack, we've got covid and 100 years of 150 million deaths and one nation under, um, you know the thing"

Moderator: "I believe what Mr Biden meant to say is that under his leadership, no person will go without medical treatment. Unlike Trump's health care plan, which is evil and is basically the same as Hitler's"
