How are the debate "moderators" chosen, anyway? Do both sides mutually agree to it or does the party putting on the debate choose? Of course they put Wallace in there. They need someone to jump in to Biden from being curbstomped by Trump.

I really love in the Trump/Shrillary debates where Trump blatantly calls out the panel of "moderators" on live TV. "I thought debating me was supposed to be her job, not yours. But no matter, we'll make it 3 on one".
