So I recently learned a little about this from the fallout of Dick Masterson’s “new project 2” patreon alternative

He went and got a merchant account so he could process payments for his site

He was eventually banned due to MasterCard putting his company on a black list.

It’s a type of black list that once any of the big guys puts you on, they all will follow it 100%. All banks, visa, MC, discover etc. no exceptions.

All they have to do is make up some bullshit and no bank will work with you

The closest we have is bitcoin but you still have to have a way to turn it from traditional currency to digital currency
