You can look at this as a loss with partial republican control, while there is a bunch of communist thugs and terrorist cells hiding within our country, who have done horrible things in the past, and have current active plots, but!- the loss of control of intelligence at such a high level for all parties, for the governing party, it is a benefit to us all.

They will always find a way to get around these restrictions though. Can they really dismantle such a powerful utility? Is it as simple as flipping a switch? How about our allies and shared intelligence, circumventing spying on our own people?
