I'm not saying it's right, but isn't it strange that the age of consent in many states is 16? If she's 15 he's a pervert but if she's 16 it's cool? I'd prefer if it was 18 across the board.

It has to do with the age gap also. It's 16 but only if they are within ten years i think. for everyone else its 18
