I think part of the problem in the US is severe balkanization. Pedo-friendly laws in CA, castration in AL... same country. Let's just yeet California out of the union (or "let" them secede), cut every single dollar of funding, and watch them collapse. Man, I wouldn't have enough popcorn for that show.
