A lot of the conservatives in the state are military, down in SD or up in Travis. The whole Jefferson plan fails to account for that. The navy is too embedded in SD to move, or it's workers/sailors.

SF is definitely the bottom of the barrel, from the culture to the people in it. The rest of the state is nowhere near as bad, even LA has diverse demographics despite how people paint it. It is spreading, but countless have already fled. Around half my family has bailed including myself. I do wonder if that exodus has the potential to flip California red. You never know.
