I live in MN, we needed the show of force and it took way too long (Minneapolis was left to burn for days). As soon as it was actually applied, the rioting/looting/burning pretty much immediately stopped for the most part. Portland could learn a thing or two, just proof that it actually works and the mayor is just being a POS.
You don't have to go back too far into the past when several of those cities voted mostly conservative. Unfortunately so much corruption has rotted them into the Marxist shit holes they've become.

San Diego, San Francisco, Las Angeles, Sacramento, Portland, and Seattle.
