Usually the people saying it's fake are talking about it being the end of civilization as the media have portrayed it to be. Bringing up HCQ treatment is a counter point to the people who think it's going to kill everybody. If covid is so deadly, hcq + zinc + azithromycin/doxycycline has been proven to be an effective treatment most notably when administered early enough before covid goes into its pneumonia stage. If the fear is justified it should be a no brainer to try a drug that's been around for almost seventy years and is dirt cheap. Not to mention these same type of people are the type to rant about Big Pharma making drugs to expensive, yet not saying anything about another proposed alternative, remdesivir, costing upwards of $3000 for treatment.
It isn't that it isn't a virus. It's fake part is how dangerous it is. The fake part is there is no known cure. The fake part was that it's some super bug that could survive on a surface for 10 days!
This is hilarious because i had the exact same conversation with my brother and said the exact same thing about how he was scared of going outside and catching it in his car if someone coughed when he drove past.

My nephew is a high school history teacher. I had to unfriend him in 2016 from Facebook, and my wife has had to do the same now. He is impossible, attacking us personally with complete smug condescension. In his late 30s now, he knows every frickin' thing there is to know, and thinks Biden is just a wonderful candidate!
We've had the best summer in years. Sunshine, large multi-family gatherings, pontoons, ORV, mountain biking... Its been amazing and also sad watching liberals waste their entire summer indoors.
