There's alot of downtime in mythic raiding, what else are you supposed to do while waiting for the mouth breathers to learn the fight. The ignores didn't happen in my raids (besides one crazy liberal chick that freaked the fuck out about it)
i guess it all depends on if you are the only one doing it. If the whole raid is talking politics and no one is complaining, sure. If everyone is just silently killing mobs and then one guy is like "yeah so imo private healthcare is superior" then it's weird
