Apparently, one of the male stylists who rents a chair in her salon has the keys and took the appt w/Nancy when her personal assistant called him. Didn’t tell the owner about it and just let her in and did her hair. Owner found out from security video and was livid as the salon has been forcibly shut down for 5 months due to Newsom’s orders and she herself hasn’t been able to work in her own salon. She was also at the point of having to close down the salon due to no work.
It’s strange that no one has identified or interviewed the hair stylist about this whole fiasco. How does he know Pelosi? How much was he paid to illegally sneak her into the closed salon? Pelosi claims that she just got a shampoo and blow dry but looks like she also got a dye job and cut (not allowed by salons at all during quarantine). I think she did get advanced services like coloring because otherwise she would have just had him come to her house for a blow dry and style. And her hair looks very dark and freshly dyed in the video.
Then the owner needs to explain why she didn’t stop him from letting her into the salon. She was obviously really angry about it - enough to share the security video with news outlets. She took a huge risk by coming out with this info on Pelosi breaking the shutdown mandate.
If the other part of the letter is true -- that they've been scheduling solo appointments, no matter how few, even the owner herself . . . then Pelosi is just another solo appointment. Especially if she has been there before. And I despise Pelosi.
With all salon's basically closed for almost 6 months how do you think everyone has been getting their hair cut?
Hint, stylists are choosing to break the rules rather than starve.
The issue here is how Pelosi takes a public stance that everything need to be closed, and how dangerous it is, until it inconveniences her, at which point the rules don't apply.
It’s strange that no one has identified or interviewed the hair stylist about this whole fiasco.
I don't disagree with you in general, but this entire thread exists because a lawyer talked to the stylist and his story doesn't match up with hers. Read the post.
There are three parties: Pelosi, the stylist, and the owner.
Pelosi says she was set up.
Owner says she found out Pelosi came to the salon to get her hair did and got super pissed and checked the video.
Stylist says Pelosi requested the appointment but he approved it with the Owner before he agreed to the session and that the owner knew it was Pelosi coming.
Frankly I believe the Stylist because it makes both the owner and Pelosi look like petty assholes, which is the general state of most of humanity.
Pelosi is a shitbird for wanting everything shut down, she's deflecting the blame onto the Governor (Her own fucking nephew) and the mayor as if she didn't wholeheartedly approve of every move they made, but the owner is probably also kind of a shitbird for agreeing to take Pelosi just so she could get pictures of her breaking her own rules when she could have just told her to pound sand.
If this were a different situation I wouldn't be supporting either of them, but I'm firmly on the owner's side here because she was given an opportunity to expose government hypocrisy and she took it. She didn't force Pelosi into anything, nor did she trap her, she just said "Yep, take the appointment" and videoed what happened.
I'll agree with all that. Although it's possible the owner actually didn't know beforehand, but that's completely irrelevant at this point. At first I was thinking Pelosi had a point that she didn't personally impose the lockdown / shutdown, but that point is also irrelevant as you state very well.
Pelosi's a tyrant! I think the Governors are more vulnerable and exposed, both to lawsuits as well as citizen's arrest. But Pelosi is by no means innocent in ANY of it, and her being caught in this one snafu should be played for all it's worth in the struggle to reduce tyranny.

This isn't true. He did tell the owner about it before it happened, as confirmed by the owner.

Is that what Pelosi means by a "setup?"
The explanation was that the stylist is renting the station in the salon, so it's not the owner's decision to allow or disallow entry.

"Just another appointment." No, you don't get to say one thing and do another when you're a public Official.

Srylist's version of facts disagrees with Pelosi's?

She's a whistleblower.
