Did they rent themselves porta-potties and pay for the fencing all nice and neatly laid out like that? I wonder whose name that is all under? Would be interesting to know.
They don't have too. The homeless situation is so out of control here. There are literally dozens of encampments all over the city just like this and way larger, the city provides the porta-potties and washing stations to keep them from just shitting on the ground like they were before. It's a hygiene band-aid on a situation they don't want to handle because it's incredibly politically charged like everything else in Portland...Any opposition to 'just let them do all the drugs they want, steal what they want and live how they want' gets you immediately branded a literal hitler-nazi-bigot who wants to murder oppressed people.
I get it, but they had to know this was coming. The Portland welcoming committee set it all up for them.
