You sound like a good pede. Thinking about this more I'm really bothered that this happened in a hospital too. I've been in those waiting room type areas. And you never know what other people are there for and going through, unless they tell you. They could have a family member in surgery or getting scary tests or they're waiting to get their own scary test results or any number of things. Dissing something that could give someone else some spiritual comfort displays a real lack of empathy in addition to the disrespect for religion part. Anyway I'm glad you're not that guy anymore. They may think they're "fighting the power" or whatever but they're making the world meaner for people who are especially vulnerable in that circumstance.
