I think it is very important that he goes through the judicial system. I know it sucks and he never should have been arrested. And I feel for Kyle having to deal with this. But afterwards he will be well compensated.
I wish that were true, but am afraid it isn't. Kyle won't be well compensated. The judicial system won't give him squat. Any lawsuits against people now defaming him will fail because they will point to the fact that he was officially charged with multiple murders and say they were just parroting the official line.
I hope and trust he will walk, however there are dirty commies everywhere we look at all levels of society and government that make this a hard go.
That's not the way it works for libel/slander though. The DA will be very unlikely to see any sanction other than at the ballot box (so probably not) but charging a person does not give others carte blanche to defame them. This is why the word "allegedly" is used so often.
