California pede here. Can confirm this is real. I changed mine a while back after seeing a reminder on here to check it. It took over a month for the change to take effect after I went online and did it. The state of California still contacted me after the change to say that they were mailing out ballots for our “safety”. Guess I’ll just have to do both, to be “safe” lol.
