You're agreeing with me. Motorola and Bell Laps DID develop cell phones AFTER the breakup. It would never have happened, if AT&T wasn't cracked open like an Easter egg.
Bell Labs did a lot of research following the breakup. If i'm not mistaken, they were a part of Lucent Technologies, and they were responsible for the massive outgrowth of communication tech that made the 90's possible.
Um all that research for the cell phone and computing and communications technologies was done in the 60s and 70s at Bell Labs pre-breakup. You really have no idea what you’re talking about. Most of the old guard was gone and Bell Labs was little more than a name by the time they were purchased by Lucent.
All of that research was done in the 60's and 70's? Huh, then why wasn't everyone carrying around cell phones at the discos? ....perhaps there was a little more work left to do.
