Then go back to the beginning of each line that has text, type the minus sign (aka dash) then a space. That will create a bullet-style.

It is made by using this symbol - at beginning of line that has text, followed by a space before text starts
you may else need to have a blank line in between the lines of text.
I learned this from Reddit (same formatting), which I no longer use anymore.
