Imagine still going to reddit knowing that all of the bots are just circle jerking each other

To be fair, I completely add to their insanity. I post positive comments about the current state of all things 'left', wait for a lot of up-votes, then comment again but this time wwwaay off the deep end with stuff like 'covid is killing MILLIONS worldwide' and 'Wow I heard on the news that Biden's crowd in Kenosha was hundreds of thousands of people!'. Then I wait for actual leftists to be like 'well ackkualllyy' then I go off on them for being a right-wing russia bot.

Its pretty petty I know, but fun.

it is petty to troll reddit, but I agree its also fun. the general level of intelligence over there is dropping daily too, its almost shocking. I joined sometime around 2016 and its so much worse than even four years ago its almost unrecognizable. aaron would nuke the sight from orbit himself, and funny thing when I looked up reddit itself his name is now gone from the founding members. I wonder if the site itself wasn't allowed to come into being and then immediately co opted by a giant CIA psy op tool or something. Hell, at this point maybe ALL social media was designed that way from the get go.

aaron would nuke the sight from orbit himself,

Awfully "convenient" that he's not around to do so.

Something always smelled a bit odd about his death and seeing how wildly the site has swung against free speech... I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

no, you're right to be suspicious, there are even rumors of CIA involvement. it is quite possible something was done to nudge him over the edge, or even cause him to become mentally unstable. it wouldn't be the first time.

Dude it's a wasteland over there. Bitcoin is falling out of the sky right now and r/Bitcoin with 1.6 million subs only has 5k people active, barely any comments on new posts. Such LOW ENERGY.

I think the Reddit drain is real, they must have lost hundreds of thousands of people but refuse to update the sub counts to reflect in fear of losing that sweet advertiser cash.

Deleted the Reddit app. I hope the site suffers a Digg 2.0 collapse.

If BTC is crashing that means the stock market will keep crashing too iirc from March

I used to basically live on reddit, day in and day out. Now I go out of my way to avoid going there and only visit if there's some obscure question I can't find the answer to on some other forum.

Same dude. I’d spend multiple hours on the site everyday. It became a leftist shithole so I became disillusioned and left. With the extra time, I’ve learned a language, lost 15 pounds, started a solid exercise routine, and picked up a bunch of fun hobbies I enjoy. I’m even considering starting my own business. I like to come here for a more truthful picture of the president I love, but I’m never going back to that lifestyle.

It's awesome what free time you find when you get off social media! I'm reading so much more, working out multiple times a week, and trying to teach myself Japanese. Reddit, Facebook, all that, is such a waste at the end of the day.

The 2016 election and their subsequent reeing and astroturfing killed that website. It became everything that early redditors claimed to hate.

Exactly. They have become the bad guys.

It's funny that they used to demonize t_d so often yet they were doing it on a larger scale all along. Not to mention t_d had a legitimate reason to be insular (to stop it becoming r/politics).
